All calls made to any Park Veterinary Group surgery outside of the usual opening times, will be automatically diverted to the Park Veterinary Hospital in Glenfield. All calls are recorded for training purposes.

The Scraptoft Lane surgery is the most recent addition to the Park Veterinary Group family of clinics and delivers a high level of convenience and service to clients in East Leicestershire. The clinic is opposite the Nuffield hospital and has parking for 15 cars. Full surgical facilities are available on site together with 3 consulting rooms. All clinical records are linked to the other sites with an ambulance transfer facility if required.

The team comprises experienced and skilled vets who are fully supported by qualified veterinary nurses and receptionists.

The small animal side of the Park Vet Group operates from 5 sites. Four of these are stand-alone clinics of 3-6 vets each, and one is a dedicated branch surgery for consulting and routine operations. The four main surgeries are self-sufficient for all routine first opinion work and have their own fixed veterinary teams, promoting continuity for clients, and also for the vets the opportunity to work in a small close-knit unit, but with the back-up, expertise and free time that you only get from a multi-person practice.Throughout the practice we have veterinary expertise in dermatology and cardiology, and certificate holders in ophthalmology, surgery and radiology. We are a registered Nurse Training Practice and tier 3 MRCVS accredited at our Glenfield Veterinary Hospital.

“There is a strong ethos within the Park Vet Group to encourage continual professional development (CPD) which is viewed as a benefit for staff and clients alike.”
Joyce Thomas, Practice Manager.
